MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR


Dear ASYNC 2004 Attendees,

we were informed by the management of Knossos Royal Village Hotel that for technical reasons the Hotel will, in the last minute, delay its Summer Season opening this year (except for its Conference Centre) until approximately the 1st of May 2004.

The Conference Centre of the Hotel will be doing business as usual.

For this reason, all bookings will be automatically transferred to its "sister" hotel, Royal Mare Village Hotel (next door to Knossos Royal Village, same Hotel company, Aldemar Hotels).

Royal Mare Village is a superior class hotel to Knossos Royal Village, with even better facilities.

Although the Conference Centre is within a short walking distance from the Royal Mare, the Hotel will provide free transportation between the Royal Mare Village Hotel and the Conference Centre, with a frequent shuttle service ensuring fast and easy transport.

* No changes in room bookings are required. *

The ASYNC 2004 Conference will take place at Conference Centre II of Knossos Royal Village Hotel.
The Conference Centre of the Knossos Royal Village Hotel provides excellent conference facilities at a very pleasant environment.



ASYNC 2004 ACCOMODATION


ASYNC 2004 attendee accomodation will take place at Royal Mare Village Hotel , the "sister" hotel of Knossos Royal Village.

The two hotels are at short walking distance (via the beach or the main road). Continous transport will be provided for the attendees between the two hotels.


Royal Mare Village Hotel is a luxurious 5-star hotel, with impressive Greek-style architecture, that matches the beauty of its natural surroundings.
 


Royal Mare Village Hotel Village offers a unique range of facilities to its guests, including one of Europe's largest Thalassotherapy (Sea water treatment) centres.

This is an automated process which will allow you to register and book a room at the ASYNC 2004 Hotel using a single electronic form. At the end of the registration process, you will be asked to send your credit card details to the hotel either by fax or telephone (the Hotel Rooms are only booked but not paid for during registration).
Registration is payable by Credit Card. Credit Card Payment is integrated into the registration process through the secure e-commerce banking gateway of Alpha Bank.
