Student Grants - Financial Support

For Graduate Students wishing to attend ASYNC 2004

A limited sum of money is available for assisting graduate students attending ASYNC 2004 with their conference fees, travel and/or accomodation costs. While students who co-author papers will be given priority, it is likely that some support will be available to other students.

The deadline for early registration for students and IEEE members is the 1st of March 2004.

Travel awards will be announced before the 1st of March 2004.

Applications for financial support, which should include a detailed estimate of travel costs, should be sent to the ASYNC 2004 Secretariat (mariab@ics.forth.gr ) no later than the 25th of February 2004.

Students who have not registered for the conference at this time must also submit confirmation from their institution of their status. Approved travel sponsorships will be reimbursed post-conference.
